Want to Learn More About the Economy?
Masters Touch is sponsoring an economy seminar for teens ages 12-18 on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 17-18 at Harvest. There will be two speakers for this seminar. Greg Rehmke heads up Economic Thinking and does economics seminars for students around the country (check out his website and also sign up online at www.economicthinking.org/fee). He is joined by Gabriella Megyesi who grew up in Hungary and attended Karl Marx University. Communism collapsed while she was in college. Ms. Megyesi uses active learning activities to help engage young people and allow them to experience economic forces first-hand.
The cost of this seminar is $20 for the first student in a family, $10 for the second teen and parents can attend for free. Dinner on Friday and lunch on Saturday are part of this cost. Attendees do not have to have previous economics experience. They will learn important information about free market principles including economics, international relations, globalization etc. Friday, 1:30-8:30 PM • Saturday 9AM–4:00 PM
Online Registration: www.economicthinking.org/FEE
Questions: grehmke@gmail.com

Wanted: M.A.D. Grads
M.A.D. Grads, you know who you are, former M.A.D. Team members. Your leadership, skills and serving hearts are needed in Sunday School. We are looking for some teens who are willing to volunteer one Sunday per month in the Kindergarten Room. If interested, please contact Pastor Helen helene@harvestcommunity.org or 414-571-5040 x211.

Food Drive
Just a friendly reminder that our next first-of-the-month food drive is October 4 and 5. Please bring your nonperishable food items to the shopping carts at the church entrance. Suggestions for food that are most helpful to the people we serve are peanut butter, canned pasta with meat, cereal, canned meat, crackers, juice, and other items that do not require much (if any) cooking, or lots of other ingredients to make a meal.
In addition to food, we could use manual can openers to give to people that are homeless or living in hotels. Thank you.

Child Dedication
Our next classes for parents who would like to dedicate their child(ren) will be held on Tuesdays, November 4 and 11 from 6:30-8:00 p.m. Please register at Harvest Central. The dedication service will be held on Sunday, November 16 at 10:30 a.m. Class attendance is required in order to dedicate your child at Harvest. If you have not dedicated your child(ren) and would like to know more, please pick up the brochure at Harvest Central or contact Pastor Helen 414-571-5040 x211.
