Frequently Asked Questions:
What kind of commitment is required to participate?
Participating in small groups requires a commitment. After checking out a small group 2-3 times, we will ask visitors to make a weekly commitment to fully participate in the small group family. This commitment requires you to attend weekly meetings, care for other group members, and receive care from others for your own needs.
What will small group meetings look like?
After a short ice-breaker, the group will participate in a bible study discussion. Then men will break off with men and women will break off with women for accountability and mutual ministry time.
Will childcare be provided?
Each group determines how childcare will be handled. Some groups may hire a babysitter to watch the kids during the meeting. Other groups may leave childcare options up to the individual family. Please contact the church office or the small group leader for more information.
Are more small groups planned for the future?
Yes. We are actively working towards launching more small groups in other areas. We hope additional groups will launch soon in areas like Cudahy, Brookfield, and near UWM in Milwaukee. In order to launch a new small group, we need trained leaders for the group and at least four committed households.
